FORMER EAGLES GUITARIST DON FELDER TO PERFORM GREATEST HITS AT FANTASY SPRINGS RESORT CASINO ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20th
August 18th, 2021 – INDIO, CA – Don Felder spent nearly three decades as a member of the legendary Eagles, and now the guitar virtuoso is bringing his considerable talents and impressive song catalog to Fantasy Springs Resort Casino’s Special Events Center on Saturday, November 20th. Not only is Felder a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, having been inducted in 1998, but he was also inaugurated into the Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville in 2016. The guitarist’s instantly recognizable tone can be heard on Eagles’ classics like “Already Gone,” “One of These Nights,” “Take It to the Limit,” and “New Kid in Town,” plus his own co-writes “Victim of Love,” “Those Shoes,” and the epic “Hotel California.”
Felder left the band in 2001 and has since forged an impressive career as a solo artist, beginning with the hard-driving “Heavy Metal (Takin’ a Ride)” from the 1981 animated film of the same name. He also released a pair of well received full-length albums — 1983’s Airborne and 2012’s Road to Forever. Felder added “best-selling author” to his long list of credits with his 2008 memoir, Heaven and Hell: My Life in the Eagles (1974-2001).
Felder has also recorded with and performed alongside such artists as the Bee Gees, Peter Frampton, Alice Cooper, Warren Zevon, Diana Ross, Stevie Nicks, Vince Gill, Barbra Streisand, Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, and Stephen Stills. He’s also toured extensively with the likes of Foreigner, Styx, REO Speedwagon, and others.
In 2019, Felder released his first solo album in seven years, American Rock ’N’ Roll, featuring an eclectic mix of high-energy rockers and touching, thoughtful ballads. The album boasts a who’s who of A-list guests including Slash, Sammy Hagar, Frampton, Mick Fleetwood, Joe Satriani, Orianthi, Richie Sambora, Alex Lifeson, and many more.
